Leading on from Psychological First Aid, this is a discussion on approaches to crisis management within your organisation through a pscyhological lens. This half-day event is aimed at giving managers a creative space within which to discuss and explore the challenges of implementing a psychologically robust crisis management policy. Participants are encouraged to think about the policies they already have in place and how they might be strengthened.

Who is it for?

The workshop is open to anyone who has attended InterHealth’s 1-day Psychological First Aid training, either in the UK or Kenya.

By the end of the day, participants will have a deepened understanding of:

• The impact of trauma on organisational behaviour
• Common mistakes in staff care after critical incidents
• Effective methods for training staff in post-trauma support
• How organisations can promote “psychological safety”
