Event Description

You may want to know about a new Global Development and Humanitarian Aid Training Program at La Roche College, in Pittsburgh, PA this coming summer, June 30 - July 13.

Activists, students, professionals in many different fields may be considering working in the Humanitarian and Emergency Aid field and this course is a perfect introduction to an interesting and challenging career. Partnering with RedR UK, La Roche College, a four-year liberal arts college in Pennsylvania, is initiating this training program with a two-week intensive course this summer. With instructors from RedR, other faculty and resource people, a trip to Washington DC and more, students will gain knowledge of the field, learn about how people work collaboratively in emergency and humanitarian aid situations and meet others from around the world also interested in this field. The course includes the potential for graduate school credit and a certificate of achievement from Red R and La Roche College.
