The IDHA is an intensive, four-week training program that caters to a wide range of humanitarian aid professionals. It aims to prepare humanitarian and NGO professionals of international relief agencies to perform effectively in a wide variety of conflict and post-conflict situations.
The course enables aid workers and their organizations to function more effectively in times of war or following natural disasters. This month long intensive program includes over 200 hours of lectures, presentations, debates, and group work.
Fee: 5,500 US Dollars, includes tuition payment, course materials, lodging, and all weekday meals. Does not include the cost of transportation.
Scholarships: The IIHA offers a limited number of scholarships.
Qualifications: All participants are required to have a university degree. Participants must be fluent in English. Preference is given to those with more than 5 years of field experience.
