By the end of the course you will able to identify different types of malnutrition including micronutrient deficiencies; outline frequently used methods for measuring food security; understand the complexity and utility of anthropometric nutrition surveys; consider a range of interventions and be able to discuss their effectiveness, including community based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM), cash and vouchers and general ration distribution.
