Is there an online directory of NGOs with offices in NYC?

Is there a single place, online where one could (if one wanted to) find a listing of, and contact information for all INGO offices in NYC?

We know that the number of those with HQs in NYC may be relatively small, but there are many with offices or presence there.

If there's no such list, should we start one?

What do you (all) think?

Idealist is the only one that comes to mind and it includes domestic NGOs as well. I'd be interested in helping create a directory here.

I don't know of a directory.  I would check with OCHA by the way...they tend to have those in the field so they might have one for NYC?  Many INGOS tend to register with their ECOSOC people as well so that might be a place to start?

Devdir is a great resource - has listings for all development orgs in the US, it's on PDF so easy to search for NYC based organizations -->  http://www.devdir.org/files/NorthAmerica.PDF
