This page is dedicated to foodie resources. Resources are linked to pages and blog posts and will be kept updated as information comes in.
Please leave comments below so that we can keep this page updated with the newest and best foodie resources we can come up with. Feel free to come up with your own blog posts on a resource which we will link to here.
Reading about how others are finding their way with food and life and checking out their recipes at the same time.
Apps have become a way of life for aid workers who cannot travel with loads of books and live off of low bandwidths. After doing some research here and here and here and here and here for starters, some apps came up again and again and those are the ones we are featuring in this blog post.
Books we like
We love food and everything about food. Some books that have held our collective foodie attention aren't just how to cookbooks. It's not just about eating but so much more...(waiting to hear from people on which books they want on the list to make the link active...so please comment and let us know!)
TV shows we like
Nothing beats watching people cook and being inspired. Some of the cooking shows we like to watch and take to the field with us...(waiting to hear from people on which TV shows they want on the list to make the link active...so please comment and let us know!)
What we travel with as humanitarians. If we are lucky, we have kitchens. What do you keep in your kitchen?

Comment by Zehra Rizvi on June 14, 2012 at 4:30am Perfect...will add...as you can see, there are no additions to this page since Feb so this is very welcome! Anymore suggestions and I will happily take them on. Thanks!
Comment by Aaron Ausland on June 13, 2012 at 8:56pm Okay, so this comment really belongs in the Books we like section. I'm still figuring this whole site out. The More With Less Cookbook was one of our great joys when my late wife and I were living in rural Bolivia as volunteers with MCC. It's such a great resource. That and Where There Is No Doctor were our field Bibles...well, those and the actual Bible; we were with the Mennonites after all.
