As part of this commitment we are developing a range of courses covering a range of skills to develop third sector logisticians in technical, leadership and management skills.
The General Food Distribution Course
Food is an emotive issue in disaster effected communities and areas of food insecurity. The distribution of food is a potential flashpoint for anger to spill into violence. The aim of The Logistics Project's General Food Distribution Course is to impart a best practice model for food distribution and train a critical thinking pathway to allow candidates to tailor the model to the limitations of the parameters of their setting.
