I went to the University of Edinburgh - Centre of African Studies and loved it. It's a postgrad centre in an amazing city with some awesome staff and you feel like you're part of a real community. The Centre is full of Africanists, who have a secondary interest in development, you learn to defend why you believe 'development' is necessary, important and not an imposition of Western hegemony (or maybe it is!) fairly early on. Fools aren't suffered gladly, but you will be stretched, questioned and challenged beyond all that you thought you could take. It was well it! Learnt so much x

Hi Brynne,

Just added it with a review section.  Thanks for the suggestion and add some feedback on your program if you can.

Hi,

You should look into Trinity College, Dublin (TCD). They have lots of development programs.

I am currently in MSc Global Health, but they have Peace Studies, Masters of Development Practice, Conflict Resolution and Environment and Development. Lots of them partner with schools or institutions in the US and Africa.
