Yeah, I guess my question is if this is that innovative and adds value, or just another way to raise money. I think any registered non-profit organization can join so there appears to be no vetting of causes here. 

I may write about it since it (like me) is based in Seattle so I'd appreciate getting others' thoughts, questions or concerns.
