Hi, not sure where to put this question... I'm interested in arranging M&E training for my team. Everyone has a reasonable foundation of M&E and ToC knowledge, so a foundation course wouldn't be appropriate -- looking for an intermediate or advanced level one or two week workshop. Location is flexible. Any ideas?

They have one coming up in New Delhi. Here is the link to their site and resources: http://www.cpc.unc.edu/measure/training here are all of the training locations and dates, I believe: http://www.cpc.unc.edu/measure/training/workshops I used to work for MEASURE Evaluation and they have fantastic courses and wonderful resources in M&E. Also, if you're interested in ongoing HIV/AIDS M&E info, check out the AIMEnet Listserv: http://www.cpc.unc.edu/measure/networks/aimenet/aimenet/ HOpe that is helpful! Good luck!

Permalink Reply by Alanna Shaikh on September 5, 2012 at 8:22pm That's a tough one. I've looked for something like that myself, with no luck. One idea - maybe you can find something on the public health supercourse the group could self-study?
Permalink Reply by Margaret (Maggie) Janes-Lucas on September 5, 2012 at 9:47pm as another plug for the resources on MEASURE Eval, you can download all of the training PPTs, handouts and materials for their courses (from the initial link I posted), with a facilitator's guide and descriptive notes in the PPTs, so you or a team of colleague could work together to do a workshop type style course with your team? Just an idea. I've used their PPTs and training guides in Cambodia for my team and here in Kyrgyzstan and with translation of the docs into local language, it worked fairly well. They also have the docs in French, possibly Spanish too.
In addition, CRS has a fantastic tool: Pro-Pack I,II, III which I used while working for them in Cambodia, but still continue to use - their tools are very clear, systematic and although not in a training format, the guide take you step-by-step through the full project cycle with a serious focus on data use and M&E. Highly recommended and can easily be adapted into training modules. I think they have them in French and Spanish too - just google CRS Pro-Pack to download. Kellogg Foundation has some good M&E materials, which might be helpful in putting together a self-study if you're not working in the Public Health field - easily adopted for an international setting... logic model guide: http://www.wkkf.org/knowledge-center/resources/2006/02/WK-Kellogg-F... and their evaluation guide: http://www.wkkf.org/knowledge-center/resources/2010/W-K-Kellogg-Fou... and they have some other assessment, project planning tools as well. hope that's helpful!
