(The Humanitarian Social Network)
There are so many international humanitarian aid and development blogs out there that it can be daunting to know where to begin. This section of the AidSource library is an expanded list (regularly updated) of those we think deliver consistently strong content.
We prefer independent blogs (blogs not run by or associated with a specific NGO, institution or corporation), and most of those listed here are independent. There is a very short list of NGO-branded blogs we can live at the bottom of this page.
If a link does not work or you have a blog to suggest adding here, please let us know in the comments thread.

Comment by Angelica on March 2, 2012 at 6:01am thanks for including on motherhood and sanity here. I think people often overlook it as not a "technical" or "political" aid work blog, and it's not, but I think the human side of being an aid worker, the challenges we face, and the rides we bring our families on are just as an important part of the discussion.
sorry I've not been very active, been on mission a lot... and still finding my way around this place
Comment by Rowan Emslie on February 13, 2012 at 4:46am Can I suggest Kariobangi? It's "a (very) new blog on industrialization, local development and entrepreneurship providing a new narrative of Africa's future". A little econo-wonky but very interesting and clearly written.
