I'm LIVE!  And I am putting it out there...I am writing because I’m very excited to share something new and good that is happening in my life.  It’s new and exciting but to be honest, also a bit scary (ok, MORE than a bit) to be putting myself out there like this.  I’m doing it because I DO think it’s important and something missing in our sector.

I’m enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I am learning to become a Health and Lifestyle Coach.  I am now officially working with humanitarians and expats to help them to create a healthier and happier life, reduce stress, have more energy, and reach an overall (sometimes elusive!) work life balance.  I took the course to augment my food security and livelihoods background and to find ways to look at both more sustainably especially with the challenges of climate change but as an added bonus, I have a way to reach out to and support colleagues.

I support people to make step-by-step, easily integrated food and lifestyle choices. It’s NOT easy in the high stress jobs we have (either in the field or at an HQ).  I have received very detailed and careful instruction on how to counsel others. It’s been a really amazing journey.

So, I wanted to invite you (yes, YOU!) to a free initial consultation session with me. You’ll have the opportunity to talk about the goals you’d like to accomplish for your health and life. It’s an opportunity to be heard and to get a sense of what it feels like to have more support in your life. You’ll also learn how to reach those goals by working with me in my Health Coaching Program.

This confidential session may very well be a turning point in your life.  Going to the school and “walking the talk” has changed my life.  If you would like to schedule a session (or if you have any questions at all) you can email me:  zehra@zehrarizvi.net.

Please feel free to visit my website at www.zehrarizvi.net to get further details on my approach and what I have been taught.  I also blog there often, and there is a tab for ‘community’ of other aid workers doing complimentary work.  You can also sign up for my newsletter on the website.

Please DO forward this to your networks as the more I talk about it with people, the more I am learning what a need it is and I am so excited that I will be able to support my colleagues.  I know this isn’t for everyone and I respect that, but there are colleagues out there who want to make changes and not only am I supportive of those decisions but I can now facilitate that change.

That feels awesome.  To just have it out there now :)  It's a free consultation---it's fun to talk to me.  Come try it out :)
